Bruce Marcus Joins Leading Voice Software Company’s Executive Management Team

Santa Cruz, CA – December 01, 2008 – SpeakSoft, Inc., a leading voice application software company, has announced the appointment of Bruce Marcus as its new Chief Financial Officer.  Mr. Marcus brings executive leadership and more than 35 years of experience with technology and banking entities.  Prior to joining SpeakSoft, Mr. Marcus was a founder and Chief Operations Officer of Visa International. Mr. Marcus was responsible for formulating all its features and obtaining bank membership commitments worldwide.  As Executive Vice President and COO he developed and obtained Board approval for the name "VISA", developed the Visa Travelers Check, extended Visa to eight new countries, established Visa's first overseas office, and personally formulated the functional specification for Visa's international electronic clearing system.

John Hopprich Joins Leading Voice Software Company’s Engineering Management Team.
